Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a safe space between you and your therapist. Your therapist takes the time to learn about you, your family history, and the history of the concerns you are seeking assistance for. Your personal goals will be explored and considered while your therapist develops a treatment plan to meet your needs. One benefit of individual therapy is uninterrupted space and time to think, feel, process, and plan. Many clients are amazed by how much easier it is to hear their own thoughts, see situations more clearly, and be inspired to change simply by taking advantage of the calm atmosphere and sound guidance provided by their therapist.
Loved ones are welcome to visit for a shared session at the client or therapist’s request. At times this is necessary to make further progress in a particular problem area. However, individual therapy is primarily centered around one person.
